These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ready To Tow: Caravan & RV mobile application ("App", "we", "our", or "us"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Ready To Tow is a pre-trip checklist application designed to help owners of towed caravans, trailers, and RVs run through safety checks before setting off. The App provides customisable checklists, trip logging, and reminder tools.

Important: Ready To Tow is a reminder and organisational tool only. It is not a substitute for a proper mechanical inspection of your vehicle or trailer, and does not guarantee the roadworthiness or safety of your setup. You remain solely responsible for verifying that your tow vehicle, trailer, and load comply with all applicable laws and manufacturer specifications before every trip.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account & Data

Most data you enter into the App (checklists, trip logs, vehicle details) is stored locally on your device. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on what information we collect and how it is used.

4. Subscriptions & Free Trial

Ready To Tow offers optional Premium features available through an auto-renewing subscription. The following terms apply:

Free trial: New subscribers are offered a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Auto-renewal: Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the subscription price shown in the App at the time of purchase (currently USD $29.99 per year), and will continue to renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
Billing: Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on which platform you downloaded the App from. We do not process or store your payment details directly.
How to cancel: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings (App Store > Subscriptions) or your Google Play account settings (Google Play > Subscriptions), at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We are unable to issue refunds directly.
Price changes: If subscription pricing changes, we will provide notice before any new price applies to your existing subscription, in accordance with the policies of the platform you subscribed through.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
Use the App to transmit any harmful or malicious code

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, logos, and content (excluding data you enter yourself), is owned by Ready To Tow and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ready To Tow and its owner(s) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to vehicle damage, accidents, or losses resulting from reliance on the App's checklists or reminders. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to operate, including Apple App Store and Google Play (for distribution and billing) and RevenueCat (for subscription management). Your use of these services is subject to their own respective terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device and cancelling any active subscription through your App Store or Google Play account.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
